Robstown American GI Forum Village Renovation Progress

The American GI Forum Village in Robstown is undergoing major renovations. This is a brief update and pictorial of the progress at American GI Forum Village.

The photos give you an idea of the construction progress.  Several families have moved back into their permanent homes.  The interior of the units looks great with new cabinets, appliances, attractive wood grain vinyl plank flooring, etc.  Notice new energy efficient, double pane windows, hardy plank siding, new designed front porch with signature columns, and sidewalks.

The office and community center has an atrium at the center of the building and as you enter through the front door management offices are on either side.  Beyond the atrium is the community hall with a vaulted ceiling and adjacent to the hall is the class room separated by expanding doors.  The facility also has a separate computer lab, restrooms, mail box center, laundry, and rear covered patio overlooking the
main children's playground.

The project is beyond 50% complete and on schedule to be completed with 100% occupancy before the end of 2013.

Additional progress as we continue will be posted on this site.
