Resolution Declares 70th Annual National  Conference Dedicated to all Korean Veterans Living or Deceased

The American GI Forum of Texas, Inc. Report: SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The American  GI Forum of the U.S. by resolution declared that the 70th Annual National  Conference be also dedicated to the Korean Veterans alive or deceased. The resolution passed unanimously by the Delegate present.

Two other resolutions were read by National Sgt-at-Arms Mario Perales from Fort Stockton Forum in Texas and passed. These were the only resolutions declared to be official and permissible according to our AGIF National Constitution by the Resolutions Committee appointed by appointed by the National Commander to presented and read to the delegation for approval. 

Below are the resolves of the three resolutions.

Resolution 1

RESOLVED; The American GI Forum meeting held on July 27, 2018 passed this resolution to acknowledge its appreciative for his contributions and long dedication to public service, for veterans and for the United States of America. Thank you for your service and may the Almighty keep you always in his Good Graces.

RESOLVED, This resolution be forwarded to Senator John McCain's office and any other interested parties.

Resolution 2

RESOLVED, That the American GI Forum dedicate this conference to Korean War Veterans, living and deceased, who have never had an official Day of Recognition, and also a copy of resolution submitted to the Korean War Veterans Associations.

Resolution 3

RESOLVED, that this 70th Conference of the American GI Forum are in support of deported veterans and their families, and are asking our President and all federal legislators to support a pardon of any deported veteran(s) and to stop deportation proceedings in order to bring them home.
